PVC Vertical Blind

Rigid PVC louvres that wipe clean with a damp cloth and are entirely unbothered by steam, splash or humidity. That is why they end up in kitchens, clinics, pharmacies and shop fronts — anywhere the blind has to be cleaned rather than cared for.

They are denser than fabric louvres, so a closed PVC vertical shuts a window down further. They also cost less, which matters when a building has forty windows to cover.

Semi Blackout: Blocks most light. A thin outline may show at the edges of the blind.

Wipe each louvre with a damp cloth and mild soap. PVC tolerates water freely — this is the one blind you can genuinely wash down.

Frequently asked questions

Which blinds survive Dhaka humidity and monsoon splash?
Anything that does not mind getting damp: PVC and aluminium slats, PVC vertical louvres, and polyester roller fabrics all wipe clean and do not swell. Natural wood is the one to keep away from a window that takes rain, because repeated wetting warps the slats — faux wood gives the same look without that risk. For a bathroom or an open balcony, PVC or aluminium is the safe answer.
What is the widest window a single blind can cover?
It depends on the mechanism, and every product page states its own limit in the specification table. Vertical blinds and veri shades go widest because the weight hangs from a track rather than winding onto a tube. A roller past about eight feet has to be made as two blinds sharing one bracket line — the calculator says so as soon as you enter a width that needs it, rather than surprising you on installation day.
Do I measure inside the window frame or outside it?
Both are valid, and they give different results. An inside (reveal) mount looks tidier and keeps the sill usable, but a little light always escapes at the edges. An outside mount overlaps the frame by two to three inches on each side and is the only way to get a genuinely dark bedroom. Tell us which you want and measure accordingly — our /measure guide walks through both with the exact points to record.
Is there a minimum size I get charged for?
Yes. A very small blind costs nearly as much to make as a medium one — the same tube, brackets, chain and labour — so every piece is billed at a minimum area regardless of how small the window is. The calculator on each product page shows you the moment the minimum is applied and by how much, so nothing is hidden inside a total.
